About Inside Voice

Content infrastructure
for licensed
Australian businesses.

We build the voice, the regulatory reference, the approval discipline, and the audit trail that lets a regulated firm publish content at agency pace without giving up the governance their licence demands.

Inside Voice is a service provider to licensed businesses. We are not ourselves an Australian Financial Services Licensee.

What we believe

The rules of the game are different.
The difference is your edge.

For an unlicensed business, AI content is a commodity race. Anyone with a credit card can produce more posts than you. The economic floor on content is now zero.

For a licensed business, you can produce content that unlicensed competitors cannot replicate without taking on liability they are not equipped to carry. You can demonstrate, on request, a chain of approval they cannot demonstrate. You can publish disclosures that are correct, current, and verbatim, every time.

Documented voice, regulatory reference, two-stage approval, and a complete audit trail are not a tax. They are competitive infrastructure for a licensed entity in 2026.

What we do

A tenant pack.
A publishing pipeline.
A documented record.

For each client we build a tenant pack. Voice DNA, persona library, regulatory reference, source landscape, compliance envelope, and the disclosure footers your licence requires.

Then we run a two-stage approved publishing pipeline on a monthly retainer.

Every draft is generated inside the documented voice and against the current regulatory reference. Every approval is logged. Every disclosure footer is applied verbatim, never paraphrased. Every state transition lives in the audit trail.

The result is a content cadence the audience can rely on, a voice that stays consistent week after week, and a documented record any regulator can read.

Who we serve

Same regulators.
Same audit expectations.

Australian insurance brokers and AFSL-licensed financial advice firms. Same regulators, same audit expectations, same compliance discipline. The framework is built for that envelope.

Built to scale

From sole practitioners
to enterprise networks.

The compliance burden does not scale with headcount. A two-person advice practice carries the same s912A obligations as a fifty-person brokerage. Both need documented voice, regulatory reference, approval discipline, and audit trail. The difference is capacity.

Inside Voice is designed for that reality. The same infrastructure that lets a sole practitioner publish consistent, compliant content without hiring a marketing team also lets an enterprise network maintain brand coherence across dozens of authorised representatives. The tenant pack scales. The approval pipeline scales. The audit log scales.

Whether you are a boutique firm looking to punch above your weight or a national network standardising content governance, the architecture is the same. The licence demands the same discipline at every size. We built for that.

Where we sit

A different
category.

A creative agency treats compliance as a tax at the end of the brief. A generic AI content tool treats the licence as the buyer's problem. Inside Voice is a third category. Compliance is the brief, not a bolt-on.

That is the line we work to, and it is the line a regulator will read when they ask for the audit log.

The thesis

For regulated Australian businesses building content that holds up to scrutiny, the audit log is the asset.

Portrait of Steve Scott, Founder at Inside Voice

Steve Scott

Founder

Since 2025·01/03

Steve has spent more than two decades in institutional banking and fintech, most recently as MD and Head of APAC at Taulia (SAP), leading the expansion of working capital technology solutions across the region. Before that, he held executive director roles at Commonwealth Bank spanning structured trade finance, supply chain finance, and commodity finance across Sydney and London, following nine years at Westpac in trade finance and forex operations.

Today, Steve builds businesses that use machine intelligence to solve real problems in regulated industries. Inside Voice exists because he watched too many licensed firms try to make generic content tools fit a regulatory envelope those tools were never built to respect. Drafts produced by models that did not know the firm. Approvals managed in email threads. Disclosures paraphrased into legal risk. An audit trail nobody could produce when asked.

The belief running through the platform is that compliance is a competitive advantage for a licensed business, not a constraint to negotiate at the end of every cycle. We believe that, over a 36-month horizon, the licensee with documented voice, regulatory reference, two-stage approval, and a complete audit log will compound an advantage that an unlicensed competitor cannot replicate. That belief is the position Inside Voice is built around.

For Inside Voice, that means understanding the real operating rhythm of licensed Australian businesses, the firms that need compliant content infrastructure but cannot afford the friction of tools built for someone else.

Matt Driscoll

Advisor

Since 2025·03/03

Matt is Managing Director of Finsura Holdings, a member of the Austbrokers network, and one of the longest-serving principals in Australian general insurance broking. He joined Finsura in 1996 and was appointed to the Board in 2004, after beginning his career with Mercantile Mutual (ING).

Finsura operates across general insurance, workers compensation, financial planning, and life insurance. Matt has spent three decades advising businesses on risk, watching the compliance and governance expectations placed on licensed operators increase year after year.

Matt's industry standing and broker network relationships give Inside Voice direct access to the firms the product is built for. He has watched the same conversation happen in broker principal and AFSL boardrooms for years: marketing budgets are real but the output is generic, compliance gates arrive too late in the cycle, and the audit trail is verbal at best. Inside Voice is the option that did not exist before.
