Overview
This page explains how to request deletion of data handled by Synodos Pty Ltd (ABN 35 694 864 590) trading as Inside Voice ("Inside Voice", "we", "us", or "our") through our integrations with Meta platforms, namely Facebook and Instagram.
Inside Voice operates as a Meta-approved Tech Provider. This means we publish content to Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts on behalf of the licensed Australian businesses that engage our services. We do not operate a consumer application.
What data our Meta integration accesses
Through Meta's APIs, the Inside Voice application accesses a limited set of data belonging to our client businesses:
- Content (text and images) that we draft and publish to a client's Facebook Page or Instagram account, with that client's approval
- Engagement metrics on those posts, such as reaction counts, comment counts, and reach, which we read back for performance reporting
- The access credentials that authorise publishing to a client's Page or account
Our Meta integration does not collect personal information from members of the public who view or interact with a client's posts. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data.
Who controls this data
Each client business owns its own Facebook Page and Instagram account, and the content posted to them. Inside Voice acts on a client's instructions under a service agreement. A client business can review, edit, or delete any post we have published at any time, directly from its own Page or account.
How to request deletion of your data
If you would like Inside Voice to delete data we hold in connection with a Meta integration, email info@insidevoiceagency.com with:
- Your name and the business you are contacting us about
- A description of the data you want deleted
- The Facebook Page or Instagram account it relates to
We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. If we are required to retain any data to meet a legal obligation, we will tell you which data and why.
Revoking Inside Voice's access entirely
A client business can remove Inside Voice's ability to access its Facebook Page or Instagram account at any time, without contacting us. To do this:
- Go to Meta Business Settings at business.facebook.com
- Open the Partners section, or the role settings for the relevant Page
- Find Inside Voice in the list of partners with access
- Remove the partner assignment
Once access is revoked, Inside Voice can no longer publish to, or read data from, that account.
